Knitting Pattern in English for a boxy sweater with drop shoulders, straight sleeves and statement stripes in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL.

Structure:

The sweater is worked top down in one piece in stockinette stitch. First, the shoulder section and the round neck are shaped with increases. Then, the back and the front part are worked separately back and forth in rows before both parts are joined again under the armpits. The sweater is now worked in stockinette stitch in rounds and finished with a hem in 1x1 ribbing. Afterwards, stitches along the armholes are picked up and the sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in rounds
until the preferred length. Then , after a few decreases for a slight sleeve shaping, they are finished with a cuff in 1x1 ribbing too. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to attach a collar in 1x1 ribbing to the sweater. Allover body and sleeves there is a pattern of contrasting stripes in the main colour and 6 different contrast colours.

The fit of the sweater is very oversized and loose. The boxy fit is emphasized by the drop shoulders and the straight sleeves, which have a slight shaping shortly before the cuffs. The highlight of the sweater is the pattern of contrasting stripes.
