Knitting Pattern in English for a Baby Blanket with a Funky Striped Pattern and Contrasting Crochet Stripes Creating a Wave Pattern (One Size).
 
 
Structure:
The blanket is worked in one piece back and forth in rows. You start with the hem in 2x2 ribbing in the CC 3. The main part of the blanket is worked in a cable pattern and with a striped pattern in CC 1 and CC 2. The blanket is then finished off with a hem in 2x2 ribbing in CC 3. 
In the end, the main part of the design is worked: You are going to crochet contrasting stripes on the stockinette stitch cables – this way you will create a funky pattern for a beautiful and unique baby blanket!

Contrast Colour 1 (Stripes): 25 g Organic Brushed Alpaca (225 m/25 g) and 50 g Organic Soft Merino (225 m/50 g) in the shade Charming by Kaos Yarn 
Contrast Colour 2 (Stripes): 25 g Organic Brushed Alpaca (225 m/25 g) and 50 g Organic Soft Merino (225 m/50 g) in the shade Brilliant by Kaos Yarn 
Contrast Colour 3 (Hem and Crochet Waves): 50 g Organic Brushed Alpaca (225 m/25 g) and 100 g Organic Soft Merino (225 m/50 g) in the shade Courageous by Kaos Yarn 
4 mm and 3.5 mm (circular) knitting needles, 3.5 mm crochet hook
Darning needle
 
Knitting Tension:
10x10 cm = 21 sts x 34 rs in pattern with 2 strands of yarn held together on 4 mm knitting needles (wet blocked!)
